UPCOMING
EDUCATIONAL
PERFORMANCES

The BWJO will offer a variety of clinics and workshops in conjunction with our concerts. During the day of the concerts, workshops and clinics will be given that reflect the concert program whether it be music of the established masters or new music for the Jazz orchestra. Instrumental master classes, improvisation and arranging clinics, and workshops for educators will be incorporated.

As a further benefit to the jazz education community, a limited number of the arrangements performed at our concerts will be offered free of charge to local public school Jazz programs. These pieces will also be covered during workshops enabling the students and directors to approach the music with sufficient background to rehearse and perform the works with accuracy and stylistic integrity.
